Women Supporting Women

TEMPO Milwaukee celebrated their 29th annual Mentor Awards luncheon on February 14. The organization, created in 1975 to promote and encourage women leadership, pioneered efforts to create opportunities of influence for women in Milwaukee.

The event, which attracted 500 attendees, celebrated the impact of mentorship and recognizes outstanding mentors in the organization. Nominated by their mentees are this year’s honorees, Kris Best, Vice President of Finance at BVK and Patty Flowers, retired regional CEO of American Red Cross of Wisconsin. The event also recognized GMR Marketing for their leadership in creating opportunities for women in business.
