Adventure Began with a Swipe Right

The moment Ted Brettingen and Stacey Jensen met, they each knew they had met someone very special. Brought together by technology, the pair quickly began an offline adventure that included concerts, festivals, fun-runs, and, eventually, an engagement in Mexico. Wed on December 16, 2017, the modern couple embraced tradition by marrying at Mary, Queen of Heaven, where the bride attended elementary school. The newlyweds, and 350 of those dear to them, then celebrated the happy union in the Grand Ballroom at The Pfister Hotel.

Ted and Stacey checked into the hotel on December 14, 2018 to spend the weekend in the place where they began their lives as husband and wife.  Filled with happy memories from their special day, the pair recreated some of the highlights of their wedding festivities for their very first anniversary. After starting the celebratory weekend with a glass of bubbly in the Lobby Lounge, the pair dined at Mason Street Grill, the place where they hosted their rehearsal dinner. Smiles appeared as they reminisced about the night they spent with those closest to them, including Ted’s father’s birthday into the memorable meal. After their anniversary meal, the Brettingens planned to catch Joe Wray, the musician who performed at their wedding, play at a local hotspot. Their getaway weekend included time in the spa, drinks at Blu, and a great deal of relaxing together.

2019 looks to be a year filled with more adventures for the happy couple. The pair will continue to work on transforming their new home in Greenfield and are looking forward to an upcoming European vacation with friends, which will include many wine tastings in the Bordeaux region and a fun jaunt through Italy.

Ted and Stacey, we raise a glass to you and wish you many more happy, adventure-filled year! May this be the first of many anniversaries you spend with your friends at The Pfister.
