I own a stem cell lab in Madison.  I’m the President and co-founder of RMS with Dr. Jon Odorico.  We’ve been in business for six years–and we’re curing diabetes.  I presented to the FDA in March and now we’re required to do two years of animal research.

One of the biggest Aha! moments for us was the first time we got the cells to produce meaningful insulin.  An independent review in San Francisco confirmed that the cells were of therapeutic grade.

Treating diabetes costs 100s of millions of dollars.  The drug companies want to keep selling insulin, obviously.  But we are the ultimate disrupter to the diabetes drug market.
