I love the Pfister! Blu, B&B pkg, lobby bar!!!

  • CJ O’Reilly

    Great contest idea!

As for the Pfister–though I’ve never stayed, I have enjoyed touring the lobby and the artist-in-residence program. I first visited when Reggie Baylor was the featured artist and loved the fish-bowl artist at work theme. The Pfister has a great art collection and the program is great way to bring attention to the collection, the hotel, the history and downtown Milwaukee’s art scene.

I love the pfister. Great to help you feel like you got away without going far. I hope high tea is coming back. I think it will be more pleasant now with the non-smoking. the smoking in the lobby kept me away from doing more cocktail kinds of things.

Thanks for the comments, Denise. Our Afternoon Tea will definitely be back. Look for it in early November.

I love the fact that an institution as old and established as the Pfister is becoming so “social-network” aware. I have wonderful memories of visiting and staying there as a child/teenager in the 70’s and 80’s. Dinners in the English Room were a very special treat. Your artist in residence program is intriuging, as is the new narrator idea. (and I love the contest idea!) Thanks for staying relevant AND classic!

A Pfister blog is a great idea, can’t wait until you get the narrator program started. I’m also enjoying the tweets.

Our neighbor! I work across the street from the Pfister – and frequently visit!

My family loves staying at the Pfister and I enjoy helping their guests as a Downtown Milwaukee employee. Blu is a great martini bar with a great view. I’m looking forward to a possible stay-vation ther sometime for the full experience.

Love the Pfister for “girl’s weekends”! The food, the ambiance, the amenities and location are ideal!

  • Tom Gauthier

I’ve enjoyed the Pfister on many occasions–particularly when it was the site of Flavors of Milwaukee. Just walking past the hotel or into the lobby is always a reminder of the great architecture and the wonderful way it has been preserved. And the Mason Street Grill is always a special treat as well.

I would love to take my mom to see Cabaret (and am very much looking forward to my massage at Well Spa on Oct. 15th). Keep up the good work, Pfister!

Ah the Pfister, so lovely…brought my sister for an evening stay as we did our walk about Milwaukee in search of the crispest Reisling, and we had a blast, ending up at the Blu. The waitress was so excited that there was a couch for us to sit and enjoy the sunset and yet more
    Reisling.
